Adrian Roman returns with Perspective Corrections, a release shaped by observation and the constant adjustment of perspective.
The EP emerged from a period of immersion in unfamiliar sonic environments, allowing new textures and atmospheres to influence the writing. The title refers to the photographic technique of correcting perspective, a discipline Adrian has grown increasingly drawn to. In the studio, the idea became a metaphor: music observed from different angles, reshaped through subtle shifts in perception.
“Verdugo” carries a more personal reference. The title nods to Luis García Berlanga’s film El Verdugo, continuing Roman’s ongoing dialogue with Valencian cinema. After previously referencing Plácido in his Flores Plácidas EP for Essential Part, this new work extends that thread, translating cinematic memory into rhythm and structure.
The release is accompanied by reinterpretations from Panthera Krause and Bar.ba, both bringing their own reading to the material. Each version opens the compositions into new terrain, reinforcing the central idea behind the project: that a shift in perspective can transform the entire frame.
