ESSP-013 | ADRIAN ROMAN & BAIME – TRIPTICO INCL. AERA REMIX

Triptico takes shape through the meeting of Baime and Adrian Roman, with Aera reinterpreting the vision to complete the cycle.

The project was born in Santiago de Compostela, where Baime spent several months living just a few kilometers from Adrian Roman’s home. What began as a series of visits to an improvised studio evolved into a focused exchange of knowledge, shaped among Spanish tortilla tapas and rainy Galician days. The name Triptico draws inspiration from the Portico of the city’s cathedral, a reference to structure and balance that translates directly into the track’s architecture.

At its core, a dominant arpeggio drives the piece as its central axis. A tight, repeating low-end pattern fires continuously, while sharp stabs and a clipped vocal presence strike in sync, locking the track into a focused and mechanical forward motion.

The remix comes from Aera. Produced in his studio overlooking the sea in Andalucía, his version leads Triptico into a more internal orbit. The arpeggio is rearticulated with greater space, allowing the elements to reorganize and breathe. The energy shifts its center of gravity, opening new dynamics while preserving the original axis.

Triptico stands as a meeting point between places, sensibilities and methods. A shared construction shaped by proximity, time and exchange.
