Following the original release by Yamil & Clemente, Simon Haehnel and Tobias Müller step inside the track and make themselves at home. The vocal remains. The chords find a new cadence. The groove takes on a more central role, while an arpeggio, absent from the original version, emerges to guide the track with the distinctive logic the German duo have spent more than a decade refining.
There is something familiar on the surface and something new underneath. The elements are recognizable, yet the overall feeling is entirely different. What emerges between those two extremes is an unmistakably andhim interpretation, difficult to place in any category other than their own self-genre.
